There’s been a lot of poorly designed studies trying to find a link between video games and violence, but have people looked into the psychology of why people keep hoping to find a connection? Is it just for political capital? I find it surprising that there aren’t more studies looking into a connection between sports and violence, given that they’re also murder simulators, and constantly have onsite stabbing, trampling, and riots. I look to seeing how the news covers the first act of violence at an esport competition.

Hey there, I am one of Charles students from that video he has shared with you guys and I must say I rather enjoy your pod casts.
