    I really enjoyed this first episode with a guest. The group dynamic, from my perspective, worked, and the studies were interesting. I think Ben Fell made some jokes, mostly puns, that didn’t get the (favorable) response I thought they deserved.

    Does psychology usually approach gender with the assumption of bivalence? If you wanted to see which differences were biological rather than just culturally instilled, it seems like it would be useful to get subjects who are not all from a two gender culture (or at least not all from the same two gender culture).

    Whenever studies regarding “the heterosexual brain” and “the homosexual brain” (phrases I share Ben’s discomfort with) are brought up, I wonder: what about bisexual people, and anyone else in other places along what is really quite a wide spectrum of sexuality?
